Esternamente é bella imponente, molto molto interessante.
Purtroppo, passandoci per ben due volte, l'ho sempre trovata chiusa, per questo non posso darle più di una stellina.
The parish church of San Benedetto is located near the west bank of the Brenta, in the historic center of Padua.
Externally it is beautiful imposing, very very interesting.
Unfortunately, passing twice, I've always found it closed, so I can't give her more than a star.

Di fondazione antichissima, 1195, la chiesa venne danneggiata in modo completo durante i feroci bombardamenti del secondo conflitto mondiale. Venne ricostruita nel primo dopoguerra. Un tempio veramente significativo per la città di Padova.
Church of considerable size, very large presbytery of great balance and elegance. Of very ancient foundation, 1195, the church was completely damaged during the fierce bombing of the Second World War. It was rebuilt after the First World War. A truly significant temple for the city of Padua.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a really gorgeous church just a few minutes away from the historical center of the city. The altar and the façade are from the 16th century, but the main body of the church was rebuilt in the 1950's after it was hit an destroyed by a bomb in 1944 during WW2. I find it to be quite charming nonetheless
