Sulla facciata si può ammirare un rosone dorato, mentre all'interno si segnalano tre altorilievi trecenteschi e alcuni affreschi di Bernardino Campi. Anche l'odore della chiesa sa di vecchio e misterioso, incredibile! Peccato per le numerose crepe che danno un aspetto precario alla volta, mi auguro la possano sistemare perché è un gioiellino. Bassiano, scrigno d’arte e sintesi delle vicende storiche del borgo, è la più antica delle chiese del paese e conserva – esempio raro nel circondario - l’originaria impronta romanico-lombarda. All’interno campeggia la grandiosa Crocifissione di Bernardino Campi. Alla scuola campesca sono probabilmente da attribuirsi anche un S. Paolo e una Decollazione del Battista. Un’altra opera preziosa - insolita a vedersi nelle chiese del Cremonese - è costituita da tre altorilievi trecenteschi in marmo. Una dolcissima Annunciata del Quattrocento, un pregevole Crocifisso ligneo del Seicento, la settecentesca pala d’altare Madonna e Santi testimoniano come ogni secolo abbia lasciato la sua eredità artistica in questa chiesa. The parish church of S. Bassiano, a treasure trove of art and a synthesis of the historical events of the village, is the oldest of the churches in the town and retains - a rare example in the surrounding area - the original Lombard-Romanesque imprint. Inside stands the grandiose Crucifixion by Bernardino Campi. A St. Paul and a Beheading of the Baptist are probably also attributed to the Campesca school. Another precious work - unusual to be seen in churches in the Cremona area - consists of three fourteenth-century marble high-reliefs. A sweet Annunciata from the fifteenth century, a valuable wooden Crucifix from the seventeenth century, the eighteenth-century altarpiece Madonna and Saints testify how every century has left its artistic heritage in this church.

T	Turista non per caso on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa è dedicata al Vescovo Laudende bassiano, L'attuale struttura è dovuta agli ampliamenti del XIX secolo essendo la primitiva chiesa diventata troppo piccola. La facciata fu poi costruita nel 1915 completando così i lavori iniziati nell'ottocento. The church is dedicated to the Bassian Bishop Laudende. The current structure is due to the enlargements of the 19th century as the primitive church became too small. The facade was then built in 1915 thus completing the works begun in the nineteenth century.
