La facciata, in un puro stile neoclassicoopera dell'architetto Jardini, fu completata nel 1822 dopo quasi vent'anni di lavori. Si presenta imponente e classicheggiante, caso raro in Campania nell'ulitizzo misto del tufo e del mattone in cotto. Essa di presenta concava e tripartita alla base in tre sezioni e su due livelli orizzontali. A destra di eleva il poderoso campanile alto circa 30m, la decorazione in tufo locale si innesta su tre livelli differenziati singolarmente dall'utilizzo nelle paraste dei tre ordini classici: dorico, ionico e corinzo. Ik campanile culmina con una cuspide a cipolla decorata e coperta interamente da maiolica scura. L'interno di vivace gusto tardo barocco si presenta suddiviso in tre navate separate da pilatri, e un presibeterio appena accenato. L' altare maggiore, molto profondo, è separato da un elegante balaustra in marmi intarsiati del '700. Gioelli della chiesa sono diversi altari laterali composti da pregevoli marmi e pietre dure, la fonte battesimale che risulta essere tra quelle più pregevoli di tutta la regione ed infine la veneratissima statua lignea della Madonna della Libera, custudita appossitamente in una grande cappella sul lato destro della navata laterale, opera costruita agli inizi del '900 dall'architetto Ferace in un gusto eclettico tipico dell'epoca. Religious building entirely rebuilt between the second half of the eighteenth century and the first half of the eighteenth century. The façade, in a pure neoclassical style by the architect Jardini, was completed in 1822 after almost twenty years of work. It is imposing and classical, a rare case in Campania in the mixed use of tuff and terracotta bricks. It is concave and tripartite at the base in three sections and on two horizontal levels. To the right of the tower rises the mighty bell tower about 30m high, the local tuff decoration is grafted on three levels individually differentiated by the use in the pilasters of the three classical orders: Doric, Ionic and Corinthian. The bell tower culminates with an onion-shaped spire decorated and entirely covered with dark majolica. The lively late Baroque interior is divided into three naves separated by pillars, and a presibeterio just mentioned. The main altar, very deep, is separated by an elegant 18th century inlaid marble balustrade. The jewels of the church are several side altars composed of precious marbles and semi-precious stones, the baptismal font which is among the most valuable of the whole region and finally the venerable wooden statue of the Madonna della Libera, specially guarded in a large chapel on the right side of the side nave, a work built in the early 1900s by the architect Ferace in an eclectic style typical of the time.

Molto sentito è il culto della Madonna della Libera che si celebra con una processione solenne per il paese ogni 8 settembre. Church with front elevation and tuff bell tower. The cult of the Madonna della Libera is much felt and is celebrated with a solemn procession through the town every 8 September.

This is a special place families of Moiano have been parishioners of for centuries. I hope to attend mass here and visit Moiano in the near future!
