G	Giorgio Ricciotti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa fu progettata da Filippo Juvarra tra il 1718 (edificio principale) e il 1730 (altari), per le monache agostiniane (canonichesse lateranensi regolari dell'Ordine di Sant'Agostino), che si dovevano trasferire da una sede precedente. Nella prima metà del XIX secolo subì alterne vicende legate alle sorti delle monache (cacciate nel 1801 dal governo rivoluzionario francese, rientrate nel 1817, nuovamente cacciate nel 1848 in seguito all'esproprio dei beni ecclesiastici dichiarato dal governo). Nel 1848 venne chiusa al culto per essere trasformata in ospedale militare, poi seguì un periodo di degrado, durante il quale la chiesa divenne anche «Casa del Soldato», dove si organizzavano spettacoli per i militari. Tra il 1869 e il 1898 fu realizzata la facciata, ancora mancante. La riapertura al culto avvenne il 14 settembre 1927, nel giorno della solennità dell'esaltazione della Santa Croce, dopo i restauri diretti dall'architetto Arturo Midana e voluti dall'Istituto delle Madri Pie di Ovada, a cui erano stati assegnati i beni delle monache. Nel 2011-2012 l'edificio è stato chiuso per restauri, al termine dei quali è stato affidato alla chiesa ortodossa rumena. The church was designed by Filippo Juvarra between 1718 (main building) and 1730 (altars), for the Augustinian nuns (regular Lateran canons of the Order of Sant'Agostino), who had to move from a previous location. In the first half of the nineteenth century it underwent various events linked to the fate of the nuns (driven out in 1801 by the French revolutionary government, returned in 1817, again driven out in 1848 following the expropriation of ecclesiastical goods declared by the government). In 1848 it was closed to worship to be transformed into a military hospital, then a period of decay followed, during which the church also became "Soldier's House", where shows were organized for the military. The façade, still missing, was built between 1869 and 1898. The reopening for worship took place on September 14, 1927, on the day of the solemnity of the exaltation of the Holy Cross, after the restorations directed by the architect Arturo Midana and commissioned by the Istituto delle Madri Pie of Ovada, to whom the assets of the nuns had been assigned . In 2011-2012 the building was closed for renovations, after which it was entrusted to the Romanian Orthodox church.

I	Ioana Boboc on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il posto più bello per noi i rumeni e la chiesa dove possiamo ritrovare la nostra tradizione .solo che pur tropo sono andata con i bambini per confesarli e giusto che ogni uno abbia il suo prete per confesarsi pero per i bambini non sapevo che e cosi .dopo due ore mezza di coda sono andata via perche non ho fatto la coda giusta .spero che sta cosa riesca a far riflettere i adulti e dare precedenza ai bambini nati qui e trovare un modo che vengono confesati a un orario decente e fisso.mi dispiace e chiedo scusa sono nata ortodossa e sarò sempre cosi ... Only though I have gone with the children to confess them and it is right that every one has his priest to confess but for the children I did not know that it is so. after two hours half the queue I went away because I didn't make the right queue. I hope it's what manages to make the adults think and give priority to the children born here and find a way that is confessed at a decent and fixed time.
