★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In provincia di Lecce non ti aspetti una chiesa e il culto fortissimo a San Nicola, notoriamente legato sopratutto alla città di Bari. Bella la chiesa con il suo portale, il campanile e la scalinata centrale. Davvero un piccolo tesoro nascosto.

Mai visto tutto il pavimento di una chiesa lavorato a mosaico, in questo caso rappresenta l'albero della vita, veramente da rimanere senza fiato.

Tre particolari sull'esterno: la sala è stata aggiunta di recente e molto probabilmente sarà presto eliminata per ripristinare l'aspetto originale della chiesa, sulla torre campanaria, in basso notate uno spazio dove c'era un affresco e in alto un numero che è la data di costruzione contata dalla creazione del mondo...
Unfortunately the church was closed. La pianta è a croce Latina e si divide in tre navate. Il pavimento spettacolare a mosaico ,rappresenta l’albero della vita con rappresentazioni della Bibbia.
Da non perdere!!
