È possibile visitarla con un biglietto cumulativo che comprende altri luoghi chiave della città al costo di 8 € (con visita guidata grazie alle guide di “Agire”).
Beautiful church with a floor perhaps brighter than the Ragusa one, containing the frescoes torn from an abandoned convent after the earthquake of 1693.
It is possible to visit it with a cumulative ticket that includes other key places in the city at a cost of € 8 (with a guided tour thanks to the “Agire” guides).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa settecentesca sconsacrata utilizzata come spazio espositivo comunale. Ha una bella facciata che, osservandola dallo slargo di Via Mormina Penna, forma un'incantevole quinta scenica con la Chiesa di San Michele Arcangelo. Di rilievo l'elegante finestra quadrilobata finemente scolpita ed il pregevole loggiato sommitale, interrotto dalla sagoma angolare della piccola cella campanaria. All'interno spicca un raffinato pavimento intarsiato in pietra bianca di Comiso e pietra pece nera di Ragusa, purtroppo non poco celato dalle strutture espositive. Soffitto a volte graziosamente affrescato. Durante la mia visita era allestita un'interessante mostra sugli affreschi staccati dalla chiesa di Santa Maria della Croce dell'ex Convento dei Cappuccini. Ingresso a pagamento (3€/interno).
Deconsecrated eighteenth-century church used as a municipal exhibition space. It has a beautiful facade which, observing it from the widening of Via Mormina Penna, forms an enchanting scenic backdrop with the Church of San Michele Arcangelo. The elegant, finely sculpted four-lobed window and the fine loggia at the top, interrupted by the angular shape of the small belfry are of particular interest. Inside, a refined inlaid floor in white stone from Comiso and black pitch stone from Ragusa stands out, unfortunately not a little hidden by the exhibition structures. Vaulted ceiling gracefully frescoed. During my visit an interesting exhibition was set up on the frescoes detached from the church of Santa Maria della Croce of the former Capuchin Convent. Entrance fee (3 € / inside).
