La sua costruzione risale al 1694 e vi è annesso un orfanotrofio retto dalle suore piccole missionarie di Gesù. Antonio da Padova. Un cenno storico ci riporta indietro di qualche tempo fa quando allora l' attuale Via Diocleziano non era altro che campagna su campagna e i proprietari di allora: Gli Ardia tra le innumerevoli proprietà dei tempi in particolar in Calabria , altro che era una cappella privata, infatti all' ingresso della Chiesa vi è posto a terra una particolare mattonella con la data di edificazione. Il suo nome completo collega anche quello si San Isidoro, precisando che ad essa vi è collegata quello che una volta era un colleggio per i meno fortunati, oggi un semi convitto gestito dalle suore di San Giustino originario del quartiere di Pianura dove li c'è la sua casa spirituale ed è Beato negli ultimi anni. Anche quest'anno la parrocchia ha voluto onorare il nostro Santo, con la Santa processione, allo slargo della Chiesa si è tenuta la Santa Messa e con successiva manifestazione teatrale della parrocchia e degustazioni locali per una piacevole serata.Sant' Antonio finalmente é stato riposto al suo posto dove per anni è stato sostituito dal Crocifisso. La chiesa ha quadri appesi sulle pareti e ha camere sia interne che esterne dove si fa Acr ma anche catechismo ma anche i corsi di cresima sia per adulti giovani e ragazzi. Le suore sono disponibili e molto affettuose. Il sacerdote molto affettuoso e cordiale con tutti fa carità. Lui adesso sta nella parrocchia da soli 4 anni e ne mancano 6 quindi chi non ha ancora visitato questa chiesa la venga a visitare sia per la chiesa ma anche per le suore e per il sacerdote molto apprensivo. This church is a very small but simple church in the baroque on the right side there is a chapel while on the left side there is a convent of nuns. The church has paintings hanging on the walls and has both internal and external rooms where ACR is done but also catechism but also the confirmation courses for both young adults and children. The nuns are available and very affectionate. The very affectionate and cordial priest with everyone is charitable. He is now in the parish for only 4 years and 6 are missing so those who have not yet visited this church come to visit both for the church but also for the nuns and for the very apprehensive priest.

Son cresciuto qui. E sono stato molto contento di aver incontrato l'attuale parroco che non conoscevo. Don Andrea è un grande Uomo di Fede ma anche un ottimo decision maker. Conduce l'edificio sacro con impegno mettendo però in chiaro che cura le Anime. E con coraggio grida al mondo la Fede che sa trasmettere Don Andrea is the parish priest of this noble chapel elected Parish with spaces I have known since I was a boy and cared for with great zeal by the parish priests who lived there ...
