Purtroppo la Chiesa subì delle modifiche quando si continuo' la costruzione del Cassaro sino al mare.
La Chiesa contiene opere d'arte preziose.
Sul lato della Cala vi è una pregevole fontana in marmo di Billiemi.

Unfortunately the Church underwent changes when the construction of the Cassaro continued down to the sea.
The church contains valuable works of art.
On the side of the Cala there is a valuable Billiemi marble fountain.

I've been attending it recently, also because it has recently reopened. A small but welcoming church like the community that attends it. Managed by an exceptional parish priest who gave me back the desire to return and get closer.
