L’atrio dell’ingresso è chiamato “Balcone di Santa Lucia” da questo punto si ha una splendida visione del quartiere di Ibla. è situata sulla via cheda Ragusa scende per Ibla
This church is dedicated to Santa Venere, later it was dedicated to Santa Lucia. Refurbished in 1797 with baroque elements. The interior has a single nave and contains 5 altars.
The entrance hall is called "Balcony of Santa Lucia" from this point you have a splendid view of the Ibla district. it is located on the road from Ragusa to Ibla

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visitata attraverso il festival LE VIE DEI TESORI, la Chiesa, eretta intorno al 1550, era inizialmente dedicata al culto di Santa Veneranda. Non subì notevoli danni dal terremoto ma fu comunque ristrutturata nel 1797 con elementi barocchi, ingrandita nel 1819 e dedicata al culto di Santa Lucia. Il sagrato è di fatto una delle più belle terrazze panoramiche su Ibla.
Visited through the LE VIE DEI TESORI festival, the church, built around 1550, was initially dedicated to the cult of Santa Veneranda. It did not suffer significant damage from the earthquake but was nevertheless restored in 1797 with Baroque elements, enlarged in 1819 and dedicated to the cult of Saint Lucia. The churchyard is in fact one of the most beautiful panoramic terraces on Ibla.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ E' una chiesa che non spicca per particolare rilevanza storico-architettonica. E' tuttavia pregevole il panorama che si può ammirare affacciandosi dall'antistante belvedere che domina Ragusa Ibla.
It is a church that does not stand out for its particular historical and architectural importance. However, the panorama that can be admired looking out from the opposite belvedere overlooking Ragusa Ibla is noteworthy.
