Alla fine del 1700 la destinazione fu mutata in conservatorio per l'educazione femminile. Attualmente è parzialmente destinata a casa di riposo. Conserva un bel crocifisso ligneo, alcuni dipinti e belle terracotte. Consigliata una visita, anche breve. Small, quiet church, founded in 1456 as a convent of the Poor Clares. At the end of the 18th century the destination was changed into a conservatory for women's education. It is currently partially used as a nursing home. It preserves a beautiful wooden crucifix, some paintings and beautiful terracottas. A visit is recommended, even a short one.

Il monastero per le religiose del Terzo Ordine di San Francesco viene fondato, ad opera del Beato Michele Turignoli da Barga, nel 1456; dopo mezzo secolo viene iniziata la costruzione della chiesa, sul cui altare maggiore, come avevano fatto i religiosi del convento francescano di Barga, pongono una pala ad altorilievo, in terracotta parzialmente invetriata, raffigurante la Madonna della Cintola, di Benedetto Buglioni (1510 circa). La chiesa nel corso del Seicento si arricchisce di arredi lignei, oggi in parte rimossi, come l'altare maggiore, sostituito con quello proveniente dal Duomo cittadino. Fra le opere, una Madonna col Bambino di Giovanni della Robbia (1500-05 circa) e un Crocifisso (metà del XIII secolo), di probabile maestranza francese e grandi tele del XVII secolo. The church of Sant'Elisabetta d'Ungheria is a sacred building located in Barga, next to the namesake conservatory.
