Dell'antico tempio rimase in piedi la base quadrangolare del campanile, poi ricostruito nella forma che osserviamo tutt'oggi. All'interno vi si può ammirare una pregevole Assunta, di autore ignoto, in cattive condizioni. La chiesa, a navata unica, è decorata con stucchi del Gianforma. Nel decennio scorso è stata oggetto di imponenti lavori di restauro che hanno riportato alla luce una finestra nel prospetto, l'antico tetto che era stato nascosto da una copertura in canne e gesso e ancora, tramite l'esplorazione del pavimento con un georadar, si è scoperta la cripta dove venivano inumati i corpi dei parrocchiani. The church existed in the seventeenth century and was almost completely destroyed by the earthquake of 11 January 1693. The quadrangular base of the bell tower remained standing of the ancient temple, which was then rebuilt in the form we still observe today. Inside you can admire a valuable Assunta, by an unknown author, in poor condition. The church, with a single nave, is decorated with stuccoes by Gianforma. In the last decade it has been the subject of massive restoration works that have brought to light a window in the façade, the ancient roof that had been hidden by a reed and plaster cover and again, through the exploration of the floor with a georadar, we the crypt where the bodies of the parishioners were buried is discovered.
