★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'attuale chiesa di San Tommaso di Portolo presso Nanno è frutto di una completa ricostruzione, tra 1818 e 1821, di un edificio probabilmente risalente al primo quarto del XVI secolo, a sua volta forse edificato su una chiesa più antica di cui non rimane traccia. La facciata, a ripidi spioventi, presenta un alzato tripartito in orizzontale ed in verticale da alcune fasce aggettanti intonacate. In posizione centrale, in basso, è collocato il portale lapideo architravato di ingresso. Il portale della chiesa in centro al paese è stato recuperato dal vecchio edificio sacro, ricostruita nel 1822. Secondo quanto riportato in alcuni documenti, agli abitanti di Portolo fu chiesto di "interrare" una porzione delle case, al fine di alzare la strada e creare una zona pianeggiante dove poter costruire la nuova chiesa.
 The current church of San Tommaso di Portolo near Nanno is the result of a complete reconstruction, between 1818 and 1821, of a building probably dating back to the first quarter of the sixteenth century, in turn perhaps built on an older church of which no trace remains . The steeply sloping façade has a tripartite elevation horizontally and vertically by some projecting plastered bands. In a central position, at the bottom, is the stone portal with architrave at the entrance. The portal of the church in the center of the town was recovered from the old sacred building, rebuilt in 1822. According to some documents, the inhabitants of Portolo were asked to "bury" a portion of the houses, in order to raise the road and create a flat area where the new church can be built.
