Sorge sulla piana a est di Campovalano non lontano alla necropoli.
L' interno, restaurato, mostra tutta l'architettura a pietra a vista lasciando qua' e la' qualche resto di affresco rimanente.
Molto ambita per celebrare matrimoni.
unica pecca è che sta quasi sempre chiusa per cui visitarla all'interno risulta difficile.
Church of San Pietro in Campovalano di Campli, built around the eighth century, built by the Benedictines with an adjoining convent, on the ruins of a Roman temple.
It stands on the plain east of Campovalano not far from the necropolis.
The restored interior shows all the exposed stone architecture, leaving here and there some remains of the remaining fresco.
Very popular for weddings.
the only flaw is that it is almost always closed so visiting it inside is difficult.
