Conserva una area religiosa dedicata a Sant'Alessandro Papa con necropoli annessa. Il paese di Corfinio conserva testimonianze romane essedo stata la capitale dei popoli Italici che fecero la famosa Guerra Civile contro Roma nel I° secolo a.C. .
Beautiful Basilia of medieval layout and setting with remarkable historical reliefs. It was the seat of the ancient Diocese of Valva, currently merged with the Archdiocese of Sulmona. It preserves a religious area dedicated to Sant'Alessandro Papa with an adjoining necropolis. The town of Corfinio preserves Roman remains as it was the capital of the Italic peoples who made the famous Civil War against Rome in the 1st century BC. .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purtroppo siamo arrivati a messa appena iniziata. Quel poco che siamo riusciti a vedere era comunque bellissimo. Peccato che all'esterno non si possa girare perché chiuso e a quanto pare con lavori in corso.
