M	Marina Bianca on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L’oratorio di San Paolo fu probabilmente edificato nel 1428 sui ruderi dell’antico castello dei Marenzi. Durante i restauri del 1969 furono individuate due feritoie appartenenti cinta muraria del castello medioevale. La facciata dell’Oratorio presenta un portale barocco (1724) in pietra locale e due finestre a lati. All’interno ammiriamo l’affresco di un ignoto pittore bergamasco della fine del XV secolo, raffigurante la Pietà e i santi Cosma e Damiano inseriti in una finta architettura che imita un trittico ligneo. Parte dei santi fu distrutta dall’inserimento (1638) dei due reliquiari (dei santi Callisto e Ponziano) incassati nel muro e contornati da cornici in stucco su cui poggiano le statue dei santi Pietro e Paolo, il cui culto è testimoniato anche dall’affresco sulla parete di destra, dove i due apostoli sono inseriti in due cornici dipinte. L’opera, databile ai primi anni del (1500). Altri affreschi, poco leggibili, si trovano nella fascia inferiore dell’altare. The oratory of San Paolo was probably built in 1428 on the ruins of the ancient castle of the Marenzi. During the 1969 restoration, two loopholes belonging to the medieval castle walls were identified. The façade of the Oratory has a baroque portal (1724) in local stone and two side windows. Inside we admire the fresco of an unknown painter from Bergamo of the late fifteenth century, depicting the Pietà and the saints Cosma and Damiano inserted in a fake architecture that imitates a wooden triptych. Part of the saints was destroyed by the insertion (1638) of the two reliquaries (of the saints Callisto and Ponziano) encased in the wall and surrounded by stucco frames on which the statues of Saints Peter and Paul rest, whose cult is also witnessed by the fresco on the right wall, where the two apostles are inserted into two painted frames. The work, datable to the early years of (1500). Other frescoes, difficult to read, are found in the lower part of the altar.
M	Mari Ube on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non avendola vista all'interno, la votazione è limitata all'esterno e alla memoria storica rappresentata da questa chiesa, che sorse nel XV secolo sull'area dell'antico Castello Marenzi, nella parte più alta del borgo. Una chiesa precedente esisteva già almeno dal XII secolo. Del maniero residua la base della torre campanaria (Torre Civica o dell'orologio), distaccata dalla chiesa, inoltre sono state messe in luce due feritoie appartenenti al fortilizio, durante lavori di scavo nella chiesa. Il tempio è situato in luogo defilato, bisogna andarvi apposta per vederlo perché soffocato da edifici sorti attorno. La facciata vera e propria, con oculo centrale, è soltanto intravvedibile per l'erezione di un muro. L'attuale facciata è quella laterale, con portale tardo barocco e iscrizione sovrastante recante la data 1724. Due finestroni sono stati aperti ai lati del portale.
