A	Andrea Silvera on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fino a non molti anni fa si teneva sulla piana vicino a questa chiesetta la Sagra Campestre in onore di San Michele e poi anche la Sagra degli Alpini di Borgomanero poi dopo una serie di atti vandalici a danno della struttura fissa che ospitava le cucine, uniti alla buona vecchia cara burocrazia cieca italiana, hanno fatto in modo di abbandonare il tutto... E' un vero peccato perchè molti si riempiono la bocca di "salvare il territorio", i fatti parlano chiaro.... Until a few years ago the Sagra Campestre in honor of San Michele was held on the plain near this church and then also the Sagra degli Alpini of Borgomanero then after a series of vandalism to the detriment of the fixed structure that housed the kitchens, together with the good old dear Italian blind bureaucracy, they made sure to abandon everything ... It is a real pity because many people fill their mouths with "saving the territory", the facts are clear.
t	teresa adami on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ♥ sì per me è molto bello Ancora adesso anche se adesso è trascurato però mi piace andarci spesso fare la mia camminata fino a su alla chiesa di San Michele Anche se purtroppo non è più quella dei miei ricordi i ragazza quando ci andavo con la scuola e anche quando ci andavo da grande perché c'era la pista di ballo c'era la festa si poteva fare il picnic della tutto bello accogliente non c'erano erbacce Mira Tutto ben tenuto adesso purtroppo è lasciato andare un po' a se stesso però a me piace tantissimo lo stesso e perciò ci vado spesso poi prima di arrivare ci sono le fattorie e ci sono i cavalli dei quali sono amica specialmente di 2 uno più dell'altro mi danno i baci e quando sentono la mia voce corre hanno vicino al recinto a farsi carezzare e poi io gli do le mani per accarezzarli e loro mi leccano le mani mi danno i bacini anche loro e poi su fino alla chiesa di San Michele a dire le mie preghiere e poi torno giù ma felice di essere stata nella natura ♥ yes for me it is very beautiful Even now even if now it is neglected but I like to go there often to do my walk up to the church of San Michele Even if unfortunately it is no longer the one in my memories i girl when I went there with school and even when I used to go there when I grew up because there was the dance floor there was a party you could have a picnic all nice cozy there were no weeds Mira Everything well kept now unfortunately it is left to go a little to itself but to I love it all the same and therefore I often go there then before arriving there are the farms and there are the horses of which I am especially friends of 2 one more than the other they give me kisses and when they hear my voice they run near the fence to be caressed and then I give them my hands to caress them and they lick my hands they give me the basins too and then up to the church of San Michele to say my prayers and then I go back down but happy to have been in nature

Un vero peccato che sia in completo abbandono, ho splendidi ricordi delle feste alpine che si svolgevano a fianco alla chiesetta e le vendemmie nelle vigne sottostanti. Beautiful terrace on the east of Borgomaner. E	Enrico Ripamonti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa sorge isolata sul colle omonimo ed è, forse, l'ultima testimonianza del villaggio di Verzole, scomparso nel Medioevo. La parte più antica è l'abside che viene datata alla fine del X secolo. La navata originale è, invece, poco riconoscibile perché è stata più volte modificata, anche in lunghezza. L'oratorio ha subito un primo lungo abbandonato a partire dal 1500 per poi beneficiare di lavori di ripristino (alla fine del 1600) e della costruzione del campanile (forse nel 1800). Altri lavori di "restauro" sono stati effettuati nel 1958 a spese della famiglia Longhi che ha probabilmente commissionato anche gli affreschi visibili nell'abside. Il San Michele versa oggi in stato di completo degrado: triste realtà per un edificio che il compianto prof. Lomaglio ipotizzava risalire all'epoca longobarda! The church stands isolated on the homonymous hill and is, perhaps, the last testimony of the village of Verzole, which disappeared in the Middle Ages. The oldest part is the apse which is dated to the end of the 10th century. The original nave, on the other hand, is hardly recognizable because it has been modified several times, even in length. The oratory underwent a first long abandonment starting from 1500 and then benefited from restoration works (at the end of 1600) and the construction of the bell tower (perhaps in 1800). Other "restoration" works were carried out in 1958 at the expense of the Longhi family who probably also commissioned the frescoes visible in the apse. The San Michele is today in a state of complete decay: sad reality for a building that the late prof. Lomaglio hypothesized that it dates back to the Lombard period!
