Nel corso degli anni la chiesa venne arricchita con sculture, affreschi, portoni, vetrate, un nuovo organo, fino al nuovo rivestimento del sagrato.
Tra le opere principali ricordiamo:
la statua di San Rocco ed il Crocefisso in legno posto sull’architrave del presbitero.
L’opera più antica all’interno della chiesa è il quadro del Santo Patrono risalente alla metà del 1.600, raffigura Santo Stefano con le braccia allargate e lo sguardo rivolto al cielo.
I parrocchiani di Santo Stefano, oltre all’aver versato per la quasi totalità i fondi necessari, si attivarono fin da subito nel collaborare attivamente alla costruzione della nuova chiesa con l'offerta gratuita di materiali e manovalanza.
Le misure principali della chiesa sono:
Lunghezza: metri 44.70;
Larghezza: metri 26.00;
Altezza alla croce del campanile: metri 44,50;
Superficie coperta: metri quadri 915;
Volume: metri cubi 9.000.
Beautiful Church, completed in 1933.
Over the years the church was enriched with sculptures, frescoes, doors, stained glass windows, a new organ, up to the new covering of the churchyard.
The main works include:
the statue of San Rocco and the wooden crucifix placed on the presbyter's architrave.
The oldest work inside the church is the picture of the patron saint dating back to the mid-1600s, depicting Saint Stephen with his arms spread and his gaze turned to the sky.
The parishioners of Santo Stefano, in addition to having paid almost all the necessary funds, immediately took action to actively collaborate in the construction of the new church with the free offer of materials and workers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non certo un gioiello architettonico ma ha un suo fascino. Un po' di gotico, un po' di romanico e materiali compositi in un prodotto finale complessivamente curioso ma da preferire di gran lunga rispetto alle moderne chiese in cemento armato con forme bizzarre. Qui il senso del sacro è conservato, l'interno è ampio, il silenzio invita alla introspezione ed al dialogo con il "divino", qualunque cosa ciò significhi per ciascuno.
Certainly not an architectural jewel but it has its own charm. A little bit of Gothic, a little bit of Romanesque and composite materials in an overall curious final product but to be much preferred over modern reinforced concrete churches with bizarre shapes. Here the sense of the sacred is preserved, the interior is large, the silence invites introspection and dialogue with the "divine", whatever this means for each one.
