â â â â â La Chiesa di San Martino di Costasavina; delizioso paesino nei pressi di Pergine Valsugana, merita una visita sia per la sua storia che per visitare il bel paesino dove sorge.
Curazia nel 1745, è parrocchia dal 13 luglio 1959.
La prima chiesa fu costruita fra il 1628 e il 1643: era dedicata, allora, ai SS. Vittore e Corona. Fu rimaneggiata negli anni 1638-1653 e riconsacrata nel 1656.
Lâattuale edificio è ricostruzione moderna, progettata dallâarchitetto Giovanni Tiella di Rovereto. La prima pietra fu posta dal decano di Pergine mons. Giacomo Regensburger, delegato dal vescovo, nel 1932; i lavori iniziati subito terminarono nel 1934.
Fu benedetta il 1 novembre 1934 e dedicata a S. Martino vescovo.
Lâaula è linda e decorosa; nellâabside è posta una pala seicentesca.
La via crucis è del secolo XVIII.
Sul fianco verso il cimitero è stato conservato il portale di forme rinascimentali che è rimasto sopraelevato a seguito della ricostruzione dellâedificio.
Il campanile è quello settecentesco: sul suo cipollone è dipinta la data del 1754.
The Church of San Martino di Costasavina; delightful village near Pergine Valsugana, worth a visit both for its history and for visiting the beautiful village where it stands.
Curazia in 1745, it has been a parish since 13 July 1959.
The first church was built between 1628 and 1643: it was dedicated, then, to the SS. Vittore and Corona. It was remodeled in the years 1638-1653 and rededicated in 1656.
The current building is a modern reconstruction, designed by the architect Giovanni Tiella of Rovereto. The foundation stone was laid by the dean of Pergine Msgr. Giacomo Regensburger, delegated by the bishop, in 1932; the work started immediately ended in 1934.
It was blessed on November 1, 1934 and dedicated to S. Martino bishop.
The classroom is neat and decent; in the apse there is a seventeenth-century altarpiece.
The via crucis is from the XVIII century.
On the side towards the cemetery the portal of Renaissance forms has been preserved which remained raised following the reconstruction of the building.
The bell tower is the eighteenth-century one: the date of 1754 is painted on its onion.
