In Camporgiano there are TWO things to see ... THE ROCK and this CHURCH ... too bad they are both closed !!!

Un'iscrizione del 1838 collocata all'interno della lunetta del portale documenta i lavori di restauro e di ingrandimento della chiesa, lavori che hanno interessato anche la facciata stessa in pietra, dal corpo centrale avanzato ed evidenziato da paraste.
L'interno a tre navate con pilastri presenta altari di metà Settecento. Il dipinto all'altar maggiore con la Trinità e i santi Rocco, Domenico, Frediano è stato di recente attribuito a Francesco Pellegrinetti di Camaiore. Fra le opere, una scultura lignea raffigurante la Madonna col Bambino del secondo quarto del XIV secolo, di ambito di Andrea Pisano.
The church of San Iacopo or Giacomo is a sacred building located in Camporgiano.
An inscription dated 1838 placed inside the lunette of the portal documents the restoration and enlargement of the church, works that also involved the stone facade itself, with an advanced central body highlighted by pilasters.
The interior with three naves with pillars has altars from the mid-eighteenth century. The painting on the high altar with the Trinity and the saints Rocco, Domenico, Frediano has recently been attributed to Francesco Pellegrinetti of Camaiore. Among the works, a wooden sculpture depicting the Madonna and Child from the second quarter of the fourteenth century, belonging to Andrea Pisano.
