With its Gothic forms in the interior and eighteenth-century in the facade, the church of San Girolamo is the oldest in the city: although remodeled several times, it was built in the thirteenth century. A place of prayer loved by the people of Mestre - who venerate a fifteenth-century wooden crucifix considered miraculous - is entrusted to the community of the Daughters of the Church.
