β β β β β Great experience kayaking in Venice with our guide Nicolo. It's a much more fun and different way to see Venice than a gondola. Our guide was funny, personable, and super enthusiastic about Venice.

β β β β β I definitly recommand this tour ; it is one of the best way to discover Venice. The guide is really passionate about the city and good at transmitting it. The laguna by kayak is also very nice and allow a different point of view on Venice, and the difficulty of the trip had been perfectly adapted to our different level. No excuse, if you decide to come to Venice you have to try it !

β β β β β Cheapest kayak tour in Venice and a very good explanation of the history of the city during the tour. This is a small operation so I e-mailed Marco and set up a time that worked for him. Marco was happy to do the tour for just one guy, so BV Kayak may be the best option if you are traveling solo.

β β β β β Michael took my husband and I on a nighttime tour of venice. It was lovely and so much fun! He had a lot of patience with me when I was running into things. I've kayaked before but never through tight corners. I would definitely suggest the night tour as there was less boat traffic which made the tour more relaxing and peaceful. Michael was a great tour guide. Sometimes was a bit hard to hear him over the noise of the canal, but when we could he helped us understand some of the history of Venice. A+ experience.

β β β β β We had an excellent tour with Michael. He was very attentive to safety and constantly ensured that everyone was having a great time. He would regularly offer historical insights on the city and monuments. Tours are generally small and intimate, if not private.
Facilities look brand new, and rather surprisingly double as an art gallery, with private showers and changing rooms. The equipment (kayaks and paddles), like the facilities, looked brand new.
After the tour had completed, Michael not only took the time to show us our route once again on a map, but further took the time to provide us with customized restaurant recommendations. These proved fantastic places that we would never have enjoyed if not for his local advice.
Tons of fun, an excellent value, and a great way to see Venice.

β β β β β Our tour was fantastic! April 25 in the evening. 5-7PM. My wife and I each got our own single kayak. The guide is VERY knowledegable about Venetian history and the buildings. He also recommended restaurants, museums and other sights to check out later or another day. You could really tell that he is in love with Venice.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone who can control a kayak. Although he did seem to go at a pace based on the slowest in the group.
GREAT TIME!

β β β β β Far cheaper than the gondolas and much more fun! Our guide was clearly in love with the city and its history and made it a memorable time. Explains all the rules of the canals and keeps everything safe.
I would recommend day or night (not afternoon) as the sun reflecting off the water at sunset was very intense, even with sunglasses
