 It is the oldest church in Mestre. It has a fine wooden ceiling and a crucifix on the altar which is considered miraculous. I often go to pray.

Merita una visita e leggere la guida di questo luogo soddisferà la curiosità di conoscere la sua storia.
Very ancient church, inside a splendid wooden Christ, flanked by a cloister in which it seems to be in another dimension, all looked after by three delightful, welcoming nuns; a place to find peace. It is worth a visit and reading the guide of this place will satisfy the curiosity to know its history.

Il crocifisso ligneo venne trasportato per acqua...(allora davanti alla chiesa vi era un canale).
La barca non riuscì a proseguire e Lui rimase in questa chiesa anziché fermarsi al Duomo.
Dal Lunedì al Venerdì le suore,figlie della chiesa espongono il Santissimo dalle ore 9.30 alle ore 11.30. È una preziosissima opportunità...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interessante chiesa di epoca medievale, soffitto con travi in legno che danno il senso di quanto sia ben conservata. Altare austero è semplice,bel crocifisso ligneo....se siete a Mestre merita una visita,se non sbaglio è la chiesa più antica della città.
Interesting medieval church, ceiling with wooden beams that give a sense of how well preserved it is. Austere altar is simple, beautiful wooden crucifix .... if you are in Mestre it is worth a visit, if I'm not mistaken it is the oldest church in the city.
