★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di San Giovanni Battista delle Monache si trova a Napoli, in via Santa Maria di Costantinopoli. L'edificio risale al 1673, ma vide il suo completamento, ad opera di Picchiatti, nel 1683. La facciata della struttura invece fece la sua comparsa solo nel secolo successivo, venne curata dal Nauclerio. Nel 1930, dopo un terremoto, iniziò il restauro della chiesa. Dopo ben 40 anni (1970) si consolidò la cripta. Negli anni che vanno dal 1969 al il 1974 la Soprintendenza accolse presso i suoi depositi tutti ciò che riguardava i beni artistici. La staticità della struttura venne poi messa a rischio durante il famoso terremoto del 1980. Si cercò di restaurarla nuovamente nell'anno 1982, ma furono soggette a crolli sia la volta che la cupola (quest'ultima al momento risulta ricostruita). In questa fase storica la chiesa di San Giovanni Battista delle Monache non si può visitare.
 The church of San Giovanni Battista delle Monache is located in Naples, in via Santa Maria di Costantinopoli. The building dates back to 1673, but saw its completion, by Picchiatti, in 1683. The facade of the structure, on the other hand, only appeared in the following century, it was cared for by Nauclerio. In 1930, after an earthquake, the restoration of the church began. After 40 years (1970) the crypt was consolidated. In the years between 1969 and 1974, the Superintendency welcomed everything related to artistic heritage into its warehouses. The static nature of the structure was then put at risk during the famous earthquake of 1980. An attempt was made to restore it again in 1982, but both the vault and the dome collapsed (the latter is currently rebuilt). In this historical phase the church of San Giovanni Battista delle Monache cannot be visited.
