★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dietro il piccolo cimitero di Gusbergo si trova una piccola chiesetta votiva che sembra incastonata nel verde del bosco. Appena restaurata (2019), la chiesa merita una visita insieme agli altri siti che si trovano nel territorio circostante.
Dall’archivio parrocchiale di Sanguarzo di possono ottenere notizie interessanti per quanto riguarda la Chiesa di San Floriano Martire: “Alle falde del monte dei Bovi, presso il castello di Urusbergo (Guspergo), si trova l’antica chiesetta dedicata a San Floriano Martire. Essa è esistente dal sec. XI; la dedicazione di questa chiesa pare ascenda all’anno 1050 o 1070, essendo Patriarca di Aquileia Godebaldo (1050-1063), Rabinger (1063-1068) o Sigeardo dei conti di Tengling-Peilstein (1068-1077).
Altri assegnano la prima erezione all’anno 1150, quando era Patriarca Pellegrino I di Pao (1132-1161). Questa chiesa cammina a pari passo con la chiesuola di S. Pantaleone di Rualis. Nella chiesa v’è un altare di legno con una antica statua pure di legno di S. Floriano (1600)”.
 Behind the small cemetery of Gusbergo there is a small votive church that seems to be set in the green of the forest. Just restored (2019), the church is worth a visit along with the other sites that are located in the surrounding area.
From the parish archive of Sanguarzo di can get interesting news regarding the Church of San Floriano Martire: "At the foot of Mount dei Bovi, near the castle of Urusbergo (Guspergo), is the ancient church dedicated to San Floriano Martire. It has existed since the sec. XI; the dedication of this church seems to have ascended to 1050 or 1070, being Patriarch of Aquileia Godebaldo (1050-1063), Rabinger (1063-1068) or Sigeardo of the counts of Tengling-Peilstein (1068-1077).
Others assign the first erection to the year 1150, when he was Patriarch Pellegrino I of Pao (1132-1161). This church walks hand in hand with the small church of S. Pantaleone di Rualis. In the church there is a wooden altar with an ancient wooden statue of St. Florian (1600) ".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima questa chiesa di San Floriano posizionata la borgata di Guspergo e Suaguarzo frazione di Cividale del Friuli.
Qui ci troviamo in periferia.
La chiesetta è sulla collinetta sul versante delle prime montagne delle PreAlpi Giulie.
Fa la sua bella figura sia di giorno con la sua scalinata e sia di notte ? con la sua illuminazione che la rende suggestiva.
Proprio difronte alla chiesetta si trova un ampio parcheggio con una grande tabella che illustra il percorso di #NordicWalking.
Passo spesso si questo itinerario molto suggestivo con gruppi essendo Istruttore Sportivo della Scuola Italiana di CamminataSportiva, ma anche di Corsa e di CicloTurismo ?, infatti il percorso si presta molto anche per giri in MTB oppure ancora meglio per le eBike.
This beautiful church of San Floriano located in the hamlet of Guspergo and Suaguarzo fraction of Cividale del Friuli.
Here we are on the outskirts.
The church is on the hill on the slope of the first mountains of the Julian Pre-Alps.
It makes a good impression both during the day with its staircase and at night ? with its lighting that makes it suggestive.
Just in front of the church there is a large parking lot with a large table illustrating the #NordicWalking route.
I often pass this very suggestive itinerary with groups being a Sports Instructor of the Italian School of Sports Walk, but also of Running and CicloTurismo ?, in fact the route is also very suitable for MTB tours or even better for eBikes.
