★ ★ ★ ★ ★ sono rimasto molto deluso, la chiesa é in pessime condizioni, un peccato , gli affreschi sono numerosi ma tutti rovinati dall'umidità, sono visibili solo in parte.
I was very disappointed, the church is in very bad condition, a pity, the frescoes are numerous but all ruined by humidity, they are visible only in part.

Pantaleone medico e martire viene festeggiato il 27 luglio. Mi è piaciuta la scritta che ho trovato sulla location in Chiesa " Meglio essere cristiano senza dirlo che proclamarlo senza esserlo." S Ignazio di Antiochia
Very beautiful church, in the historical center of Montauro, rebuilt in 1783 and, where the relics are kept and, the ampoule containing his blood. S. Pantaleone doctor and martyr is celebrated on July 27th. I liked the inscription I found on the location in the church "Better to be a Christian without saying it than to proclaim it without it." ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Consiglio di andarla a visitare, veramente bella, oltretutto il paese gode di una bellissima vista sul golfo di Squillace. Dentro la chiesa sono custodite le reliquie di San Pantaleone dove per due volte all'anno vengono esposte ai fedeli e in quei giorni il sangue del Santo si liquefà.Le date sono il 27 luglio e il 5 febbraio
I recommend going to visit, really beautiful, plus the town has a beautiful view of the Gulf of Squillace. Inside the church there are the relics of San Pantaleone where twice a year they are exposed to the faithful and in those days the blood of the Saint liquefies. Dates are July 27th and February 5th

Bella is rich in history in the center of the small village, behind the main entrance there is a really beautiful view of the Ionian sea, benches and trees to stay cool in the hot period, a really nice place
