★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa odierna è frutto della ricostruzione operata nel corso della seconda metà del Settecento, su progetto dell'architetto Luigi Barberis. In realtà l'edificio ha origini ben più antiche, medievali: a testimoniarlo rimane ancora oggi il campanile romanico, nascosto dalla facciata attuale e risalente al XII Secolo. Per il resto, sia l'interno sia l'esterno non hanno più nulla a che vedere con l'architettura primigenia, risultando un gradevole esempio di primo stile neoclassico, gusto che si stava imponendo ai tempi del rifacimento della chiesa. Oggi è sede della comunità ucraina di rito Bizantino-Slavo.
The current church is the result of the reconstruction carried out during the second half of the eighteenth century, on a project by the architect Luigi Barberis. In reality, the building has much more ancient, medieval origins: the Romanesque bell tower, hidden from the current facade and dating back to the 12th century, still testifies to it. For the rest, both the interior and the exterior have nothing to do with the primeval architecture, resulting in a pleasant example of the first neoclassical style, a taste that was imposing itself at the time of the remaking of the church. Today it is the seat of the Ukrainian Byzantine-Slavic rite community.
