All' interno è conservato il Crocifisso che si dice che è stato fatto da NICODEMO amico di GESÙ , ma in realtà con il controllo al carbonio 14 la data è 1300 circa. Poi abbiamo la tomba di Tangredi di Sicilia morto giovanissimo dopo una caduta da cavallo , per osservarla basta andare dava davanti alla altare alzare gli occhi sul lato dx e si vede questa piccola tomba. Sempre stando davanti alla altare sulla sx c è una porticina dove si tempi delle Crociate passavano i Cavalieri e si dirigevano in una stanza dove c'è una fessura che è in direzione di Gerusalemme è pregavano prima di partire per la terra Santa che dopo il loro rientro. Tenete presente che dal Porto di Trapani sono partite diverse spedizioni di Crociati diretti in terra Santa. A beautiful church full of history. Ci sono passato diverse volte ed a diversi orari, ormai la salita la conosco a memoria, ma l'ho trovata sempre chiusa, l'avrei visitata volentieri, peccato. April 2022.
