Nel passeggio tra i tanti negozi puo' passare inosservata, ma merita una sosta per ritemprare le nostre anime in preghiera e CARITA'. It is a beautiful CHURCH in the gut, which invites the faithful for PURE Simplicity and the presence of statues of many SAINTS. In walking among the many shops it can go unnoticed, but it is worth a stop to restore our souls in prayer and CHARITY.

Il portone d'ingresso come è conservato non dà il l'impressione che all'interno ci sia una splendida chiesa, molto raccolta e quasi semicircolare. Da un impatto scenografico notevole e si rimane basiti. È senza dubbio da visitare. All'interno vi sono foglietti che spiegano la storia della chiesa. Located to the right of via V.Veneto just left the center of Alassio along the town road that flanks the sea. The entrance door as it is preserved does not give the impression that inside there is a splendid church, very intimate and almost semicircular. From a significant scenographic impact and you will be thrilled. It is without a doubt to visit. Inside there are leaflets explaining the history of the church.

Spoglia esternamente, offre moltissimo appena varcato il portone di legno. Un angolo di pace e raccoglimento prima di venir di nuovo investiti dal via vai di Alassio. We took a tour in the busy Alassio gut and I admit that this break in the small chapel found by chance on the way, regenerated me. Costruita nel 1300 come chiesa per i pellegrini con annesso un ospizio, fu probabilmente restaurata successivamente in stile barocco. La planimetria, che sembra ellittica, ricorda le chiese romane del Bernini (anche se il prospetto non rispecchia l'interno): entrando ci sono più altari e lo spazio sembra dilatarsi lateralmente. Numerose sono le decorazioni, le opere e gli affreschi che abbelliscono il soffitto. Small Catholic Church located near the "budello" of Alassio. Built in 1300 as a church for pilgrims with an adjoining hospice, it was probably later restored in the Baroque style. The plan, which seems elliptical, recalls Bernini's Roman churches (even if the façade does not reflect the interior): upon entering there are more altars and the space seems to expand laterally. There are numerous decorations, works and frescoes that adorn the ceiling.
