Scendendo dalla stradina pefonale.che la raggiunge permmette di osservare dal suo piccolo sagrato la stupenda immagine del posto di Marina Piccola da cui partono i natanti per la circumnavigazione dell'isola di Lipari e per le altre isole Eolie. Da qui la discesa a mare, con una miriade di caratteristici negozi sul lato sinistro e il panorama a strapiombo sul mare a destra, conduce a una vasta piazza sul porto con alcuni buoni ristoranti. in alternativa, sempre che non ci si voglia imbarcare, si può proseguire sulla strada pedonale in salita ove negozi ed esercizi di ristorazione e taverne permettono di destinare, bere, rinfrescarsi. Nel mio soggiorno con parenti ed amici è stato un posto che abbiamo frequentato sovente e volentieri. Gli interni della Chiesa sono semplici e favoriscono una tranquilla meditazione e un ringraziamento a Dio per essere in un luogo bellissimo come Lipari.
The church of the Annunziata is located in the elevated panoramic point above Marina Piccola
Coming down from the pefonale road which reaches it, you can observe from its small churchyard the wonderful image of the place of Marina Piccola from which the boats leave for the circumnavigation of the island of Lipari and for the other Aeolian islands. From here the descent to the sea, with a myriad of characteristic shops on the left side and the panorama overlooking the sea on the right, leads to a large square on the port with some good restaurants. alternatively, as long as you don't want to embark, you can continue on the uphill pedestrian street where shops and restaurants and taverns allow you to allocate, drink, refresh yourself. In my stay with relatives and friends it was a place that we frequented frequently. The interiors of the Church are simple and encourage peaceful meditation and thanksgiving to God for being in a beautiful place like Lipari.
