★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Storica la Chiesa di San Giuseppe, al limite del centro storico in direzione Sannicola, è sede della Congregazione di San Giuseppe, i “fratelli” affiliati alla congregazione, nelle uscite in occasione di processioni o esequie funebri, vestono tunica bianca stretta in vita da un cordone e mozzetta azzurra con appuntata al petto l’effige della Buona Morte, ossia la morte di San Giuseppe, la cui festa ricade in luglio, nella seconda domenica.
Molto toccante è la processione di Gesù morto. Esce alla mezzanotte in punto del Venerdì Santo e percorre le strade principali del paese tra preghiere e le meste note della banda musicale.
Historic the Church of San Giuseppe, on the edge of the historic center in the direction of Sannicola, is the seat of the Congregation of San Giuseppe, the "brothers" affiliated to the congregation, in the outings on the occasion of processions or funeral services, wear a white tunic tightened at the waist by a blue cord and mozzetta with the effigy of the Good Death pinned to the chest, that is the death of St. Joseph, whose feast falls in July, on the second Sunday.
Very touching is the procession of the dead Jesus. It comes out at midnight on Good Friday and goes through the main streets of the town between prayers and the sad notes of the musical band.
