Da poco é accessibile la cripta nella quale é sepolto un missionario, padre D'Annucci, che ha dedicato la sua vita ai poveri del Sud Africa e lì é stato ucciso l'8 dicembre 2001. Da visitare, insieme alle altre bellezze di Atella.
The Cathedral of Atella dates back to 1300 AD. In Romanesque style, with one nave, it has a beautiful bell tower and a wonderful wooden choir. The crypt in which is buried a missionary, Father D'Annucci, who dedicated his life to the poor of South Africa and was killed there on December 8, 2001, has recently become accessible. To visit, together with the other beauties of Atella.
