In futuro, quando il passate di RFI (Rete Ferroviaria Italiana) (che passerà anche dal Porto), sarà completato, sostituirà la tratta Metropolitana. Si tratta della fermata in corrispondenza del porto della città, abbastanza vicino al centro cittadino. Da questa posizione si può raggiungere comodamente tutta la zona di arrivo e partenza di navi. Nelle vicinanze c'è anche una zona di deposito ferroviario. I was in this place on the occasion of a business trip to Catania. This is the stop at the city port, quite close to the city center.
