★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I discovered this place by coincidence and every time I am in Rome for a few days i visit it almost every day! A vintage store with every kind of delicatessen you would like to bring from Italy!
But the nicest thing about the place... The espresso bar! Strong Italian coffee full of taste!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely fabulous shop on one of Rome's most beautiful shopping streets. There, all in one place, it is possible to find ingredients from all over the world, and it's perhaps the only shop in Rome where I can get hold of All Spice (called 'pimento' in Italian).
But maybe the most enticing part of the shop is at the back where, among the Chinese and Japanese ingredients, there are some gorgeous bowls, mugs and platters with lovely designs, fit for Ramen but why not, a bowl of Italian pasta?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can not pass by this place when strolling toward the Vatican! You are drawn through its doors and back into history, to the classic grocers your great grandmother might have gone to to prepare Saturday night dinner.
Browsing the floor-to-ceiling wooden shelves neatly, fully stacked with foods both Italian and from the world over, you feel both overwhelmed & very small, like a child staring up in profound wonderment of it all.
This is where you shop for your Italian friends back home, as well as those who delight in cooking with an astounding variety of olive oils, pastas, spices & sauces, or teas and chocolates - All attractively packaged!
