★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The castle is kept in very good condition with beautiful gardens. The views are very nice and there are even a few small museums inside. Definitely worth a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful experience for my little family. My daughter enjoyed reading all the information provided on the wild life and fish. My husband and I enjoyed the majestic views! We had fun walking up all the stairs and then back down-- of course as any seven year old would enjoy! A great stop for the views and lessons in history!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must to see when visiting Malcesine on lake Garda. Step inside and admire the beautiful fresco on the ceiling, then view the garden area and take a "selfie" sitting on the wall watching the boats passing by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great castle, it was great experience to visit the castle in the old town, you can explore every inch in the castle, the museum is great so that the tower. I wasn't expect that for 6 euros.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malcesine's claim to fame is Goethe's unexpected visit. Well preserved castle and good Goethe exhibit in Italian, German and English. Walk up the bell tower for beautiful views. Great ice cream before you enter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful area with great and friendly people. We stayed in park du lac in Riva del garda and drove to malcesine by car. Fun fact: Johan Wolfgang von Goethe spent during his Italien travel couple of moons there as well 13.9.1786 Second to none.
