Really nice photographic artist with a liking of Jazz. Bought a picture and it was lovely and he took a lot of time to sign it for us. We found him to be a very pleasant man

This man is the most arrogant and rude person i ever met. I would not go into in shop even if he paid me for it. I read that he is arrogant and rude to other people as well, so just stay away from this so called 'artist'.

Beautiful photography but the artist is extremely rude. I was in the shop for the third time, considering purchasing a piece and he began telling me that the art is not for me, and that clearly I am not sofisticated enough. (I had just come from the beach so I guess he thought my outfit didn’t do.) I will not make a purchase.

visited his store as i was interested in his works. Never been as disappointed by a persons behavior. His behavior was was absolutely arrogant and dismissive. Maybe this was because i was in his store with my two kids. I saw other comments which let me come to this conclusion. Anyway kids or no kids i do not lot like being insulted instead of being greeted. I rather have not any of his work on my wall as it would remind me of the person behind. If you want to be insulted go there

Such a shame - a talented photographer but not a salesman or warm and approachable person. His work was good for sure, but such a sense of inflated self-importance, told that he was a famous photographer and made me feel that I was a mere tourist lol. I read the review below about him being rude and thought I would share my experience. Passing his shop I thought how admirable it would be if the artist was there selling his own work, and later I was to learn it was the artist himself. I walked in and admired the work respectfully and then gently opened one of the books which on top of a pile to look at the works and I was quickly reproached for doing so. I was told to use two hands when opening a book cover which was laughable and then given a lecture on how tourists do not buy from his shop and he is a famous photographer - that people make appointments days in advance to view and he signs them, but this shop is not for Tourists (!) Was pretty unwelcoming and odd. I asked Luciano if he opens the shop all year round and was told seven months of the year - April/May to October - and he photographs the other five months. I remarked dryly, "Oh you open then during the..... Tourist Season?" I made my point, it was lost on him! My friend than suggested that he puts one of his DO NOT TOUCH signs on the books, and I suggested that maybe he reserves one copy with clear markings for people interested in his work to look through but he was unwilling to do so - laughably the DO NOT TOUCH sign was on top of a rack of plastic encased covered photos that could only be seen....by touching them! Luciano, maybe you were having a bad day but it is irrelevant if the people who want to purchase your work are tourists or the glitterati, who you appear to favour. Everyone should be treated politely with respect and kindness if they enter your shop and who express a genuine interest in your work. I understand you being protective of your photos and your books, but how can one leaf through a book without touching it or opening the cover. My advice stands - a label with "SHOP COPY for VIEWING ONLY" and lighten up a little - your work deserves better!

I’m in shock reading negative comments here. My experience was totally different. Came in to the shop, admired his work and have a great chat about photography, places, techniques. We bought two pieces which he signed for us. I took a picture of him while he was doing this. He was very pleasant and welcoming. Just show some appreciation to the artist and try to understand him. It’s not a beach souvenir shop.
