★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questa struttura è quanto resta di una torretta acquaria, ovvero di un componente dell'impianto di distribuzione dell'acqua verso la città di Capua, e quindi faceva parte dall'acquedotto "aqua Julia", donato da Ottaviano Augusto.
E' un "impianto tecnologico" di epoca romana, e andrebbe valorizzato, anche solo con una pulizia e un tabellone esplicativo.
This structure is what remains of an aquarium tower, or a component of the water distribution system towards the city of Capua, and therefore was part of the "aqua Julia" aqueduct, donated by Octavian Augustus.
