★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is like a dream and the gardens are incredible, we couldn’t try the swimming pool but looks amazing. It would be better if the restaurant is open for dinner, we send several emails asking about it but nobody reply to us. The wine tour is a Joke, mixing the different wines within 5 mins when you arrive and after that you need to drive your care to continue to the cellars. The wine not bad not good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best wine tour I have ever done. Inis (spelling) was an amazing. Super passionate about wine and funny. The tour was great because she gave really interesting information not just a cookie cutter wine your that you can get. I did the tour and lunch with tasting and it was perfect. The lunch was good and the three wines at lunch were delicious. After lunch we went back down to the wine shop at the bottom of the mountain and Inis had us taste a few more wines and told us other interesting information. Prices are good for the quality of wine, a must visit. They can also ship to the USA if you need 12 bottles was around 90€ in shipping.
Very rarely would I ever consider going back to a winery and redoing and tour and tasting but this is one place I would.
Would 100% return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely incredible and simply magical weekend getaway. A castle in the heart of the Chianti region where the staff go above and beyond to make the experience one to remember forever. Just what is needed to recharge the batteries.
With its own wine shop where you can do wine tasting tours with Ines who is incredibly funny, quirky and professional or simply try Castello Vicchiomaggio wines to the restaurant where the food is hand made and absolutely exquisite and even our waiter, Marco, who is one of the friendliest people I've met, accompanied our meal by playing some of the most beautiful songs on the piano!
And all of the above with the most breathtaking views of the Chianti region. An absolute must in the area!
