A	Alexander Barinov on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel, fantastic park, unique location, unbelievable empty beach, good wine bar and terrace, friendly staff! Unfortunately restaurant was not good at all. Dinner wasn't impressed and expensive, every breakfast was a disaster from service point of view. Waiters are just simply unprofessional and don't know what to do. But despite this, we had a great time at Castello San Marco.
R	Rebecca Eves on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a lovely hotel the rooms are very nice and clean although the bed was a bit hard for me, I awoke with aches and pains buts that's just my preference perhaps. The grounds and the staff are great, made for a relaxing stay. We ate in the restaurant on our first night really lovely food could perhaps do with a little more lighting to better see what you are eating. The stand out for me was the cod starter. Breakfast is also good. The swimming pool was great, many hours spent relaxing or swimming here, never q problem getting a sunbed. We also used the spa for a massage and I can say it was the most relaxing massage I've had in a while.

Our room was kept to the traditional style with gorgeous ceramic sinks and cream and white linen throughout. The bar lady was lovely! She took us through the Sicilian wines with pride and knowledge. The food was inventive. Perhaps they could allow their guests to lie on their sun loungers without cost, it is not expensive, it would be more an indication of exclusivity and respect to not ask for more payment, or perhaps charge a bit more for the rooms if it is a problem. It would be wonderful to have another restaurant with relaxed traditional Sicilian food. The orange juice is to wake up for. The only reason I gave this four stars is because there is never enough orange juice. Definitely recommend this place. It is truly something special.

The premises are nothing short of beautiful and impeccably maintained. (The one minor, minor, criticism is that the mattresses in the garden suite room could need a change - and the massages in the spa treatment packages are not good unfortunately - but these are external people). Otherwise everything is perfect ? and it is one of the most well-kept hotels I have been to. The owners -who I believe live in the Castello- can and should be very proud of their property.

We discovered our room which was probably the very best room with an amazing pool inside ! The welcome at the reception was excellent and a particular warm appreciation of the "multi-task" performance of Alexandra at breakfast and dinner ! Again, thank you very much for this wonderful experience near Taormina.
