5	50 Sfumature di viaggio & Scozia on the road on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello e la piccola chiesetta annessa è una delle poche cose che ci sono piaciute durante la nostra visita all'isola Polvese. Se ci fossimo limitati ad esplorare solamente la parte iniziale dell'isola, quella vicina al modo dei traghetti per intederci, probabilmente sarebbe andata molto meglio. Addentrandoci invece siamo stati invasi da sciami di api, vespe, ragni e moscerini di lago. Abbiamo visto non so quante persone scappare in preda al panico! Impossibile prendere anche un caffè all'aperto sul prato perchè gli insetti, a causa della mancata disinfestazione, ti seguivano praticamente da tutte le parti. Un peccato per gli amanti della natura e delle passeggiate come siamo noi! The castle and the small adjoining church is one of the few things we liked during our visit to the Polvese island. If we had limited ourselves to exploring only the initial part of the island, the one close to the way of the ferries to see us, it would probably have been much better. As we went further, we were invaded by swarms of bees, wasps, spiders and lake gnats. We have seen I don't know how many people run away in panic! Impossible to have a coffee outdoors on the lawn because the insects, due to the lack of disinfestation, followed you practically from all sides. A pity for nature and walking lovers like us!

Separata dalle altre, una sesta torre più alta rende il complesso architettonico piuttosto scenografico. É raggiungibile con un traghetto con partenza da più approdi ma poiché egli orari cambiano a seconda della stagione e del giorno della settimana é sempre meglio informarsi prima dall'amministrazione della Provincia che cura il sevizio. All'interno dell'isola vi é un bar ristorante e un arenile libero che consente di fare tranquillamente il bagno. Ma senz'altro da visitare é il piccolo castello, aperto gratuitamente al pubblico, che evoca atmosfere passate. The Polvere Island is the largest of the three islands of Lake Trasimeno (PG, the others are the Isola Maggiore and the Isola Minore). r	roberta Vaxl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo castello ho avuto la fortuna di visitare l'interno nel 1991,era con gli arredi originali ma non in buono stato,ricordo una parte del pavimento in una stanza che aveva un buco e si vedeva la stanza sottostante...alcune sedie d'epoca che necessitavano di restauro...un bellissimo arazzo con fili che pendevano per l'usura del tempo...sono contenta che ora sia visitabile e che sia tenuto in buono stato This castle I was lucky enough to visit inside in 1991, it was with the original furnishings but not in good condition, I remember a part of the floor in a room that had a hole and you could see the room below ... era that needed restoration ... a beautiful tapestry with threads that hung due to the wear of time ... I am happy that it can now be visited and that it is kept in good condition
