★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello di Salizzole si distingue come uno dei complessi edilizi medioevali piu' importanti di tutto il Basso Veronese.
L'imponente struttura architettonica comprende due torri di eta' diversa unite da un ampio corpo centrale. La torre occidentale, merlata, risale al XII secolo; quella orientale con l'adiacente portale d'ingresso e' da attribuire da un intervento di Alberto Della Scala, risalente alla fine del Duecento. Le prime notizie storiche riguardanti i suoi possibili proprietari rislgono all seconda meta' del XIII secolo.
The Salizzole castle stands out as one of the most important medieval building complexes in the whole of the lower Veronese area.
The imposing architectural structure includes two towers of different ages joined by a large central body. The crenellated western tower dates back to the 12th century; the eastern one with the adjacent entrance portal is to be attributed by an intervention by Alberto Della Scala, dating back to the end of the thirteenth century. The first historical information regarding its possible owners dates back to the second half of the thirteenth century.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo molto suggestivo, ben tenuto e curato. In particolare l'evento svoltosi l'11 e il 12 dicembre, gestito da volontari, ben organizzato, ma purtroppo poco partecipato, probabilmente anche causa COVID.
Very suggestive place, well kept and cared for. In particular, the event held on 11 and 12 December, managed by volunteers, well organized, but unfortunately little attended, probably also due to COVID.
