★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Castello di Roccavignale risalente al dodicesimo secolo è quello che resta dopo secoli di travagliati passaggi di proprietà di numerosi feudatari sino alla distribuzione per mezzo delle truppe napoleoniche. Dopo alcuni restauri , oggi si può ammirare solamente lo "scheletro" di ciò che la fortezza rappresentava per l'economia politica del piccolo borgo di Roccavignale , crocevia di spicco per il collegamento tra Piemonte e Liguria. Solamente nel periodo estivo e possibile visitare il sito tramite guide locali. Nelle belle giornate di sole e possibile ammirare il Castello riflesso nelle acque del sottostante lago del Dolmen.
The Castle of Roccavignale dating back to the twelfth century is the one that remains after centuries of troubled passages of ownership of numerous feudal lords up to the distribution by the Napoleonic troops. After some restorations, today one can only admire the "skeleton" of what the fortress represented for the political economy of the small village of Roccavignale, a prominent crossroads for the connection between Piedmont and Liguria. Only in summer it is possible to visit the site through local guides. On sunny days it is possible to admire the Castle reflected in the waters of the underlying Dolmen Lake.
