Strada asfaltata dopo1,5km,si arriva a gressa.piccolo gruppo di case ristrutturate.posto in altura a 600slm,colpisce l'occhio la veduta della torre del castello dimmezzata di altezza,ma sempre guardinga e a vigilare i punti nevralgici della vallata insieme alla gemella castello di marciano a protezione di arezzo e la curia vescovile.le sue origini sono datate 1078con il vescovo elemperto.1257gli aretini assalirono cortona e ne dirrocarono le mura.fu una vittoria che pagarono a caro prezzo.firenze alleata di cortona intervenne,nell'anno 1259presero d'assedio gressa e la disfecero.alla morte dei vescovi idebrandino e il successore guido tarlati tocco gressa al fratello detto pier tacconi,guerriero d'armi.dopo un periodo travagliato,la signoria di fitenze oramai dominava arezzo e i territori vicini.la sorte tocco' anche a gressa,che fu sottomessa nel 1368.oggi a gressavi sono pochi residenti.proseguendo per l'unico borgo di accesso al cassero,si presenta ben curato x merito del dott dini,residente del luogo.l'inponente chiesa eil palazzo vescovile domina quasi l'intera vallata con anpia veduta di bibbiena si mostra sorridente e sicura nella collina,sapendo di essere protetta alle spalle da quel castello del xi secolo di gressa. Tutto il complesso è in pietra di un bel colore caldo, alla quale fanno contrasto le tegole rosse Delle case circostanti. Chiesetta, panorama stupendo verso il Pratomagno, è privato e non sono esposti orari di visita. Si parcheggia facilmente in auto ma per i disabili è luogo ostile. Dini che ci tiene parecchio alla sua proprietà e la difende con un cane di grossa taglia incatenato che abbaia parecchio minaccioso . Non so perché si scrivano tante belle romanticherie . Oltre a non potrete visitare il castello è anche pericoloso e soprattutto , sto cane tenuto così fa davvero primi 900. Mah!
