Found closed on Sunday but I don't think we would have found a lot to see inside ... very small it doesn't even look like a castle .. the view is beautiful ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello di Gamberale è in realtà una ricostruzione di una vecchia chiesa. Da tantissimo tempo non è a petto ne visitabile. Negli anni scorsi occasionalmente e molto raramente si tenevano delle mostre e delle conferenze. Ma da qualche anno non viene più utilizzato. Bellissimo il panorama di cui si può godere dalla piccola piazzetta antistante il castello. Lo sguardo può spaziare dalla sottostante fondovalle Sangro per risalire lungo le montagne molisane verso Capracotta, Prato Gentile e monte Campo. Dall'altro lato si possono ammirare il Monte Canale e Monte Melo della catena montuosa dei Monti Pizzi.
The castle of Gamberale is actually a reconstruction of an old church. For a long time it is not possible to visit it. In recent years, exhibitions and conferences were held occasionally and very rarely. But for some years it has not been used anymore. The view from the small square in front of the castle is beautiful. The gaze can range from the Sangro valley floor below to ascend along the Molise mountains towards Capracotta, Prato Gentile and Monte Campo. On the other side you can admire the Monte Canale and Monte Melo of the Monti Pizzi mountain range.
