Ma è veramente un bel ristorante, dente e fuori dal castello di Compiano.
Il cibo è praticamente tutto ottimo, dai panigacci con il salume, ai cubetti di polenta fritta, fino alla carne.
Per essere precisi, giusto i panigacci conditi potrebbero essere un po' migliorati, soprattutto quello ai funghi.
Per il resto è tutto valido.
I put 4 stars because every place for me can always be improved.
But it is a really nice restaurant, dent and outside the Compiano castle.
The food is practically all excellent, from the panigacci with salami, to the cubes of fried polenta, up to the meat.
To be precise, just the seasoned panigacci could be a bit improved, especially the one with mushrooms.
For the rest, everything is valid.

Ambiente accogliente e molto bella la braceria a vista.
Capo sala molto disponibile anche nelle spiegazioni delle portate.
Abbiamo ordinato panigaccio con spalla cotta e costata rucola e grana e 2 bicchieri di vino.
La costata ottima e cottura media come richiesto, buona anche la spalla cotta forse la avrei voluta più calda ma comunque non male. Dessert panigaccio con Nutella che andava a concludere il pranzo.
Nel complesso esperienza positiva.
Lunch in this nice restaurant located at the base of the suggestive medieval castle of Compiano.
Cozy environment and very nice exposed grill.
Head of the dining room also very helpful in explaining the courses.
We ordered panigaccio with cooked shoulder and chops of rocket and parmesan and 2 glasses of wine.
The ribs are excellent and medium cooked as required, the cooked shoulder is also good, perhaps I would have wanted it hotter but still not bad. Panigaccio dessert with Nutella that ended the lunch.
Overall positive experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Domenica a pranzo, abbiamo assaggiato panigaccio bollito ("Quel Diavolo di Panigaccio", consigliato!), panigaccio tradizionale con pesto e con salumi, a concludere anche panigaccio con nutella. Locale informale ma comunque carino, in location certamente suggestiva. Consigliato!
On Sunday for lunch, we tasted boiled panigaccio ("Quel Diavolo di Panigaccio", recommended!), Traditional panigaccio with pesto and salami, and finally panigaccio with nutella. Informal but still nice place, in a certainly suggestive location. Recommended!

I salumi e formaggi di ottima qualità, porzioni abbondanti e materie prime di qualità. A questo si aggiunge l'abilità della cucina e il servizio rapido e preciso. Il personale assolutamente adorabile e cordiale completano il tutto. Assolutamente da provare!
Wonderful location and superb food. The panigacci are delicious and cooked to perfection. King forearm recommended. The meats and cheeses of excellent quality, generous portions and quality raw materials. Add to this the skill of the kitchen and the quick and precise service. Absolutely lovely and friendly staff top it all off. A must try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A restaurant in the castle of Compiano, one of the most interesting villagea of the area. Parling area is very close to the castle. The restaurant is dedicated to the panigaccio (known as testarolo or testaieu in Liguria) a tipical dish of the Lunigiana (the territory between Emilia, Liguria and Northern Tuscany). Staff is friendly and panigaccio is cooked live in a wood oven. Price is very reasonable.
