Abbiamo preso il menù sambuco ridotto a 6 porzioni: ogni porzione un ciclo di sapori a sé. Un totale di mille assaggi di cose diverse, tutte studiate nei minimi particolari.
Un totale di 2 ore con attese veloci ma sempre pieno di novità. Il vino consigliato era perfetto e locale come tutti gli ingredienti.
Vale proprio la pena.
It is not a dinner, it is an experience.
We took the elderberry menu reduced to 6 portions: each portion a cycle of flavors in itself. A total of a thousand tastings of different things, all studied in detail.
A total of 2 hours with fast waiting but always full of news. The recommended wine was perfect and local like all the ingredients.
It is really worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant setting is gorgeous, located among olive tree fields and you seat in a vaulted dining room. We had the degustation menu with 8 courses. The food was divine with a couple of dishes clearly standing out - gambero rosso, the tongue, the gin infused cappeletti and the pine risotto! The only negative point was the wine, we took the wine pairing from Calabria, while the wine was very good, it was not a true wine pairing to fit with the dishes but rather 4 different types of wine in consecutive order. Finally the service is very attentive and Nino Rossi the chef will great you on a couple of occasions and this is the final cherry on the cake. If you plan a vacation in Calabria, you should definitely make a detour in Qafiz!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem in Calabria. Very small and romantic place with only four tables. Chef is extremely polite and is visiting the table a few times during the culinary ‘experience’. Very fair prices considering the level of cuisine and the surroundings are amazing with all the olive trees. Definitely to visit!!
