Originariamente aveva 4 torri , una ancora esistente .Era dotato di Ponte Levatoio ora sostituito con un ponticello fisso in muratura . C'e anche un fossato che corre intorno all'edificio Epoca di costruzione: sec. XIV - sec. XV Proprietà Privata The Castle is entirely in exposed brick. Originally it had 4 towers, one still existing. It was equipped with a drawbridge now replaced with a fixed brick bridge. There is also a moat that runs around the building Construction period: sec. XIV - sec. XV Private property
F	Francesco Trovato (Albertus) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo anche se per colpa della soprintendenza è ora in rovina, non hanno permesso di ristrutturarlo ne la politica ha fatto in modo di mantenerlo visitabile. Un vero peccato. Beautiful even if due to the superintendency it is now in ruins, they have not allowed it to be restored nor the policy has made sure to keep it open to visitors. Such a pity.

S	Silvana Croce on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grazie al Gruppo FAI Giovani dell'Oltrepo Pavese, oggi (13 ottobre 2019) ho potuto visitare il Castello di Argine, risalente al 1300, che non è mai stato aperto al pubblico, in quanto dimora privata. Gli ambienti visitabili erano al piano terra, arredati in stile rustico, stile peraltro coerente con la struttura che è pur sempre un Castello di campagna. Mi ha colpita molto il vecchio camino della "cucina del personale di servizio ", con all'interno dello stesso non solo la seduta, ma anche un piano di appoggio, tipo piccolo tavolino! Splendido e curatissimo il grande parco. Ottima esperienza, grazie ancora al FAI. Thanks to the FAI Youth Group of Oltrepo Pavese, today (13 October 2019) I was able to visit the Argine Castle, dating back to 1300, which was never opened to the public, as a private residence. The rooms that could be visited were on the ground floor, furnished in a rustic style, a style that is also consistent with the structure that is still a country castle. I was struck by the old fireplace in the "kitchen of the service personnel", with not only the seat inside it, but also a support surface, like a small table! The large park is splendid and well-kept. Excellent experience, thanks again to the FAI.
