There are a lot of path to the mountain near the castle and the local politics are very kind to visitors!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unique and obscure castle located above Sulmona. Thought to be one of the towers used to warn the Romans of invasions from the east. Cool small town with great views of mountains above and Sulmona below. Only 10 minutes from A24 autostrada.
