★ ★ ★ ★ ★ incanta per la sua possenza.....una fortezza che domina l'ambiente circostante con un'armonia tipica delle strutture medievali, ben lontane dalle nostre mirabolanti architettura moderne, che difficilmente si inseriscono nell'ambiente naturale................
Le pietre del maniero si fondono con la roccia del promontorio, e la torre mastra svetta sull'impianto castellano per ricordare la valenza della fortezza. Il castello infatti venne costruito a difesa delle attività di un caricatore granario.
Nella cappella del castello viene custodita l'affascinante Madonna di Montechiaro, statua in marmo scolpita......tra leggende, mito e religiosità..........e sotto la rocca su cui è costruito il castello si apre la baia delle sirene, posto incantevole e meraviglia della natura.....

The stones of the manor merge with the rock of the promontory, and the coaming tower stands out on the castle structure to remember the value of the fortress. The castle was in fact built to defend the activities of a grain loader.
In the chapel of the castle the fascinating Madonna di Montechiaro is kept, a sculpted marble statue ...... between legends, myth and religiosity .......... and under the fortress on which the castle is built there is opens the bay of the sirens, enchanting place and wonder of nature .....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Niente da dire, luogo incantevole e ben tenuto. Abbiamo trovato chiuso ma credo sia una consuetudine, peccato. Strada d'accesso facile da raggiungere con la macchina, dal parcheggio sono pochi passi a piedi. Incantevole la spiaggia sottostante oltretutto su google maps non ha nemmeno un nome. Ho letto che nell'area circostante che volge verso Punta Bianca esistono delle pietre solsistiziali e orologi solari probabilmente preistorici, in effetti il contesto rende, a prima vista, lo scenario plausibile
Nothing to say, lovely and well kept place. We found it closed but I think it is a custom, too bad. Access road easy to reach by car, from the parking lot are a few steps on foot. The beach below is enchanting, plus it doesn't even have a name on google maps. I read that in the surrounding area that turns towards Punta Bianca there are solsystic stones and probably prehistoric sundials, in fact the context makes, at first glance, the scenario plausible

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful place. Easy to find with a little hike at the end. So worth it. Castle by the sea was great. Wish we had known a head that needed to call a head for a tour of the inside.
