We loved by the place!
The room's were perfect, wonderful windows view and nice pool.
We really enjoyed the outstanding hospitality of Tz'hzhrinh & Gabriela.
We recommend this wonderful place. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible communication and lack of integrity. Beware of booking if there is a slight chance you may need to change your plans.
First of all, I’m not one to leave negative reviews as it can be damaging to businesses. In this case, I want people to be aware of something about booking with Castel Pietraio.
I emailed twice to cancel my booking because my holiday plans changed. I received no response.
The only time they emailed me was to send a receipt confirming they charged me the full amount, despite me having emailed them to cancel well within the cancellation policy grace period.
I’ve tried emailing and calling multiple times to resolve this, but have not heard back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing.. the castle should be renovated. The pool is dirty and smelly.
The man at the reception is rude. When we arrived he told us the hotel was full. When we then showed him the confirmation from booking he then showed us our room without further commenting on what he just said before.
On Google Review at the time of writing this hotel has an average rating of 4.6. Honestly, the only reasons we could make sense of this high rating is that most of fhe reviews are fake.
Avoid this place!
