Un ottimo posto dove fare pic nic per il territorio prevalentemente pianeggiante e le coperture in legno installate. Peccato che sia lasciato totalmente allo sbaraglio da animali da pascolo, se non fosse per questo sarebbe perfetta anche per la vista. A point of reference for those who enter the Nebrodi park. G	Gino Biundo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antiche case ristrutturate dall'Ente Parco, complete di pannelli fotovoltaici sui tetti, i quali forniscono una lieve illuminazione con pali illuminati, la notte. È possibile entrare nell'area, attraverso un cancello scorrevole, ma non nelle case in quanto chiuse. Né è possibile bivaccare all'interno dell'area in quanto delle guardie del parco ci hanno informato che è necessario chiedere il permesso all'Ente. Comunque la zona è bellissima, strapiena di animali di giorno e di notte. Di notte avvistate e sentite poco lontano dalle tende decine di volpi e famigliola di suini neri brucare tutta la notte il prato, per via dei ciliegi. Un po' fastidioso il passaggio notturno, nella strada carrareccia, di vari fuoristrada di pastori o giovani chiassosi. Poco più su infatti (Portella Scafi) la strada si congiunge con la dorsale dei Nebrodi che permette di raggiungere Floresta, i Laghi del Biviere e Mistretta. Punto d'acqua con abbeveratoio per gli animali a pochissima distanza. Il lento degrado di questa grande struttura continua. Cavi elettrici tagliati, camere insozzate da rifiuti e perfino escrementi. Abbandono. Invece di un grande e accogliente punto di ristoro e villeggiatura per trekkers e turisti. Vergogna! Very beautiful woods. Mangalaviti houses closed. Big wasted opportunity for tourism even in winter. Update of 17/09/2020. The slow decay of this large structure continues. Electric cables cut, rooms soiled with rubbish and even excrement. S	Savio Pagano on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grande struttura immersa nel verde. Si arriva facilmente anche con la macchina, l'asfalto è in uno stato decente. Purtroppo il rifugio è in stato di abbandono ma comunque ancora recuperabile e senza danni gravi alle strutture esistenti. Spero vivamente in una rivalutazione del rifugio perché merita tanto. Il bosco circostante è pieno di animali e alberi monumentali, ruscelletti e ponticelli. Meraviglia della natura allo stato PURO. Seguando il sentiero si arriva a lago biviere, anche in macchina. Da fare almeno una volta della vita. CONSIGLIATISSIMO Large structure surrounded by greenery. It can also be reached easily by car, the asphalt is in a decent state. I was here because it's mandatory if you arrive from Biviere Lake, in my case by motorbike, and you want arrive in Alcara Li Fusi. This place is good for pic-nic, camping, spent a day in the nature. In this place you can find the King of Nebrodi the famous Black Pig of Madonie Mountains!!! I recommend to visit this place in every season!
